The ONLY advantage to aluminum that CF seems to have is that it's dramaticaly less damaging to you and the car if the shaft ever breaks.... but how often does THAT happen? They also say that it's a bit more stable as far as vibration dampening goes... but a well balanced aluminum shaft is really all you need in my opinion. Save the CF for full on race cars I say.
